Kane's Catering

Jerry donated his service as part of a wedding package that my husband and I received for being in the army. Jerry is extremely nice, helpful, goes out of his way, creative ideas, amazing food, down to earth. There is nothing bad we can say about Jerry, the food, or the catering staff. Absolutely amazing!!!!!

Kane's was amazing!! Our guests absolutely loved the food, couldn't stop raving about it all night and after the fact! The food was very reasonably priced too! The staff were very professional and thoughtful. The owners were great to work with in the planning process. Would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Choosing Kane's for our wedding reception was one of the best choices I could have made. They were friendly, helpful, and very professional. They served tables in a timely fashion, and they returned every phone call and email promptly. They were always very willing to work with our ideas, and to provide suggestions if we needed them. After our tasting with Kane's, we knew they were the one for us. Every guest raved about thier food and we received many compliments of it being the best wedding meal they've ever had. If you're in the st paul area and have not picked your caterer yet, please take time to meet with Kane's, they will not dissapoint you! I would recommend them to everyone!

Hire Kane's Catering for your wedding! You will not be disappointed. This family owned business, which has been in business for forever, is in business for a reason. They are so professional, easy to work with, friendly, prompt, courteous, tasty, and very affordable. The food tasted *outstanding* and many, many of our guests said it was some of the best "wedding food" or restaurant catered food they had every eaten. I was sad when my wedding was over and I didn't get to work with them any more; that is how much I liked them being a part of my life in the planning up to my wedding day.

THese guys were GREAT! I changed my mind a bunch of times, no problem. Lots of compliments about the food! The workers were beyond wonderful, even packed up the leftovers and sent them home with us. Would recommend them again and again. Price was a lifesaver too.

Can't say enough about them. Their customer service is wonderful, they cater to your every need. The cost was the lowest we found, which made us worried about the quality of food. So many people said it was the best wedding food they've ever had...they rock!

The food was great--many compliments--and CHEAP! No problems whatsoever with the food or the service. The staff were efficient, professional and friendly. Janet Kane was very helpful and competent.

I hope this doesn't appear to be a professionally written review because it is so positive. I rarely write reviews but am doing this because our experience was so amazing. We had nothing but good experience with Jerry and Janet Kane, beginning with our first phone conversation on the 4th of July. I don't think the Kanes ever take a break from work. I compared estimates with several other caterers in the Twin cities including Prom and D'Amico. Not only did Kane's estimate come in much below the others, but it turned out to be a WONDERFUL meal. Serving staff acted in a professional manner, met all our requests Don't be turned off by the small and crowded catering building where you will have a taste test - once you eat the food Jerry produces, you will be won over. We choose to upgrade the classic menu and chose an appetizer package. The portions for both were very generous and delicious. We brought leftovers home on ice, so continued to enjoy Kanes Catering an extra day. I would recommend Kanes to anyone! Thank you for helping to make our wedding a giant success.

Thanks to Jerry & Janet at Kane's, we had SUPERB food at our reception. The appetizers during cocktail hour we devoured by our guests & the display of them was gorgeous. We received many compliments on our dinner & I have referred a few friends to them as well. Selecting food made me nervous, but Janet was such a joy to work with & she helped me narrow down my choices. I was always able to reach them & they answered any of my questions right away. On the day of our wedding, everything went seamlessly & I didn't have to worry for even one second about my food because I knew Kane's had it all under control!

I would highly recommend Kane's Catering to anyone looking for good food at a good price. My wedding guests loved the food (the mashed potatoes, in particular, were a big hit) and there was plenty of it for everyone. We were quite impressed by the level of service provided by the staff at the event- they took extra time arranging the place settings and favors to make the tables look great. The only small hiccup we had was in arranging the menu- be sure to call Janet (don't just email!) with your menu and guest count. When we emailed, we mentioned the number of vegetarians attending but did not confirm this with Janet over the phone, the result being that we did not have any entrees for our vegetarian guests. It was ok in the end because the potatoes, salad, fruit and (complimentary!) bread made a sufficient meal but we would have preferred to have a main dish for them as well. Overall, we were quite pleased with our choice of caterer and would happily hire them again.

Kane's has awesome food and a great price for the for you get. The worker's are the nicest people ever and they are very accomodating and do whatever they can to please you. Highly recommended.

I and my husband both were very pleased with the food that was served and the availabilty of specialized items we wanted to make sure were at the wedding. They did everything possible to make sure we were happy and we were. I highly recommedn them for your wedding needs.

Kane's was a really great caterer for our wedding. They allowed us to choose three different entrees, plus a kids' meal. The food was great! We were a bit nervous because there was no contract and our receipt came in the mail and was hand-written, but we discovered this method was not disorganization, but just good old fashioned family run business.
