Profile Event Center

We had our ceremony and reception in the Diamond Hall and all I can say is it was PERFECT! I would not have wanted anything different from a venue. The location is great, the food is amazing, the staff was professional and prompt, and Heather made my day EASY!!! I love this location and would recommend it to anyone looking for the best value in the Twin Cities.

We just had our Reception here. Loved it! Nothing more to it. Customer Service is well above and beyond. We felt we were in good hands the whole time and everything went off with out a hitch. Very pleased in that regard 6 out of 5. The room was gorgeous. Better than any place we looked at by far. The lofts, sound system, and especially the lighting system, along with the contemporary looking bar all were leaps and bounds above any other place we looked at. We were in the Diamond hall (smaller of the 2) with 150 or so guests. I wouldn't recommend going too much higher than that in that particualr hall. There was a wedding happening on the other side.. but there was no notice in the least. Thecost was right, We were in January, but on top of that, you could bring in your own booze without penalty. That was big for us. Lastly the food was good. I am not about to comment in detail here, as this is pretty subjective. But I can say the helpings were large enough, and no one thought ill of the food. I recommend going to a free tasting to form your own opinion there beyond that. Over all the night was a blast! The provided Dj was great! (granted I sent him a playlist a month ahead of time), we had a slide show of photos playing during the happy hour and dinner on the screen, which everyone loved; so I recommend it. As a whole the Profile center is a great place to host your reception. We are so happy wiht it, and we are taking away a full night of great memories.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Profile and it was perfect, everything we had been looking for! Being able to light up the room any color made it very unique and added a lot to the space, not to mention saved costs on bringing in color through decoration. The food, service, and help from the wedding coordinator made choosing the Profile the easiest decision and I'm so glad we did because our wedding was perfect!

I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say. EVERYONE at the PEC was fantastic. The staff were all great and Heather had tabs on us and our needs from the second we got there. The food was fantastic, everything ran smoothly, and all the guests raved about how cool the venue was. Even before the wedding Heather, the event coordinator, was awesome to work with. I booked with her over two years out from my wedding and she always has been professional and quick to respond and has never made me feel bad for all of my endless questions and obsessing!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Profile Event Center in the Casablanca hall this past July. I don’t even know where to begin! For starters, the food was absolutely amazing. We have never had a better meal at a wedding, and neither had our guests. We heard COUNTLESS compliments on the food and the staff. The chef went completely above and beyond by including specialty touches with the entrée’s and ordering edible flower garnishes that we mentioned we loved. Heather, Patrick and Giovanni were nothing short of saints throughout the planning process. They helped us with EVERY planning detail, and made sure on the day that everything went perfectly and turned out beautifully. We could not have had a better wedding experience. We went with one of Profile’s in-house DJ’s (DJ Kyle), and he was nothing short of remarkable! The dance floor was packed all night and EVERYONE was dancing (from 2-92 yrs. old). DJ Kyle was on his feet the entire night and so were our guests. Our friends in their twenties and grandparents all had the same response, “that was not only the best wedding I’ve ever been to, that was the best party I’ve ever been to!”. We couldn’t have been happier. We ordered our cake from the in house pastry chef at Profile, and also had them make our ice sculpture. Their staff did an amazing job making both the cake and the sculpture gorgeous, and they were exactly what we had designed/described. We also heard that we had the “best tasting wedding cake” and many of our guests wanted to know where it was from. Profile was simply a one-stop shop to an unforgettable wedding. Two of our favorite things about the Profile Event Center were the Bridal/groom’s suites, and the BYOB style bar. We had many children at our wedding, and were concerned about kid’s running around and misbehaving. However, the bridal/groom’s suites, outfitted with Xbox 360 and all, came to the rescue. At the end of the night, neither my husband nor I remembered seeing/hearing one crazy kid. And to make things even better, all of the kids said it was the “most fun night of their life”. The suites were such a priceless amenity! While the kids were having fun playing games, the adults were having theirs at the bar. It was such a blessing to be able to provide an open bar ALL NIGHT for our guests without breaking the bank. In fact, all of the alcohol for ~300 guests for 9 hours cost less than our friends who gave their guests a couple of drink tickets and one keg during cocktail hour at theirs (at another reception hall of course). We never thought that we would actually SAVE money by offering an open bar, but we did  In addition, the bartenders from the Minnesota School of Bartending were sharp, professional, friendly, and kept our guests entertained throughout the night. Lastly, Profile recommended Atomic K Records and Productions to us for our Photography/videography, and we could not have been happier with how things turned out. The pictures and HD video from the day/night were amazing, and the staff was such a joy to work with! We saved a lot of money by going with Atomic K over other options, and would recommend them to ANYONE who is in need of photography/videography for their event. Overall, we whole heartedly recommend the Profile Event Center, and hope to be invited to a wedding there in the future. Profile is truly “beyond ordinary, extraordinary”.

The profile event center and their staff are amazing! We had our ceremony and our reception there and everything was perfect! Heather the event coordinator could not have been better, so kind, helpful, professional, and thinks of everything to make your day perfect! The food was amazing and everything was very reasonable and so easy to plan with their help (at no extra costs!) We loved everythng about the profile Event Center and will recommend it to anyone!

We had our wedding at the Profile Event Center in the diamond hall in April 2011. With the help of Heather and Patrick the planning was no stress at all. They sit down and go over every detail with you. They were more then happy to answer all my emails promptly and also available for phone calls. Many services such as the wedding cake, decor, music and photography are also available directly from Profile. The location itself is spectacular! Very different then your traditional wedding venue. We wanted a more modern yet, romantic reception and with the wall draping and lighting options we were able to achieve just that. All the ladies commented on how much the room looked just like a fairytale while the guys commented on how it looked like a modern club. The food is amazing! We offered our guests fillet Mignon, almond crusted chicken and mushroom ravioli. We also offered a variety of appetizers. All of our guests raved about the food and we had many comments that it was the best wedding food they ever had. The ability to bring in all your own alcohol was huge! It saved us so much money. We had red and white wine, champagne beer and a variety of mixed drinks for 150 people for under $2000. Profile event center made my wedding memorable not only for me and my husband but for all our guests too!

AMAZING! We had our reception in the newly remodeled Casablanca room and it more than I could've asked for. It truly was the best time ever. With the band, lighting and hundreds of candles lit it was like a dream. Our guests kept coming up to me to tell me this was the best wedding they've ever attended and how amazing the room and the food was. The food was incredible, seriously! We had 3 entrees: almond crusted chicken, flank steak and cheese ravioli and everyone was raving about it. The late night pizzas were a hit too. By bringing in our own alcohol and bartenders we were able to save a ton of money. Heather and Patrick were fantastic to work with and responded to questions or requests quicker than any of our vendors. I would recommend PEC in a heartbeat!

I had my reception in the Casablanca Hall at the Profile Event center. When I first saw the center, I was a bit skeptical because it looked small, old, and I was not sure how all of my guests were going to fit. However, they completed an all new renovation in Jan, 2011 and it looks absolutely amazing. I booked the place without knowing what the renovation would look like and it was completed above my expectations. Everything was ready for us on March 5, 2011. I worked very closely with Heather and occasionally Patrick and they were both professional, experienced, flexible, and easy going. Emails, phone calls and frequent drop-ins to the hall were common and always welcomed. I never felt like I was annoying them or bothering them. I cannot express to you how important it is to have a coordinator as organized as Heather is. It makes it much easier for you! This is a place for someone who has a budget in mind but would like to have a beautiful wedding as well. I chose to do my own centerpieces but the ones they provide are reasonable and very nice as well. The piece that sold me on this place was the bring your own beverage policy and the pretzels and cheese! We invited approximately 300 people which would have been nearly $9,000 for an open bar at any other venue. However, a huge perk in regards to the PEC is that you can bring your own which costed us around $2,000. We saved a substantial amount right there and we were able to provide good drinks, food, and ambiance to our company. This allowed us to be able to serve everyone either steak (its cooked on the rare-medium side, be aware), chicken, or mushroom ravioli as well as providing them late night snacks which were a HUGE hit (pretzels and cheese (my fav) and pizza). These are just a few example of how amazing the PEC was and how happy we were with it. Best of luck to your planning and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks again!

Married on 2/19/2011 Heather & Patrick are wonderful!!! Our reception was more beautiful than we ever expected, the food was amazing and everything went exactly as we had planned. I would recommend evey bride check this place out, truly a treasure!!! Allie

They were amazing to work with Heather was great!!! Everyone has an amazing time at our wedding and everything went so smoothly. I would recommend this place for a reception, it takes all the pressure off once you set foot in their on your wedding night!

I LOVED the Profile Event Center. I booked them almost two years out for my Oct 2010 wedding and they worked with me from the start like my wedding was just around the corner. The coordinator there, Heather, is fantastic. She responded quickly to all my questions - and there were a lot of questions over the entire engagement :). The space itself is also very unique. We were in the Diamond Hall which has multiple levels and lighting built right in (the other room has lighting too). It had such a fun an unique feel to it which is one of the reasons we picked it - we did not want your traditional hotel ballroom feel. The food there is also AMAZING! I come from an Italian family so the food being good was really important to us. We also served it family style which added to the overall feel we had that night. Couldn’t have asked for anything else!

The Profile Event Center was a great venue for our wedding reception. We had a great experience from the moment we walked in to tour the venue. Heather (event coordinator) is AMAZING!!! She is very promt at returning emails and phone calls. The day of our wedding Heather met us outside when we arrived and talked to us about what was going on. She was there through dinner and helped everything run smoothly. The food was amazing too! We loved the lighting and the bar area looked great too!! I would highly recommend the Profile Event Center for your wedding reception!!

The Profile Event Center is just what they say?.Beyond Ordinary!! We live in North Carolina and were not having the best of luck finding a venue for our wedding in Minneapolis. That all stopped when we found the Profile Event Center. From the first time we spoke with the staff, we knew that this would be our place. We felt special from the day we spoke to the event coordinator until we left our reception exhausted from the amount of fun we had!! Working with the event coordinator on the details of our wedding reception was so easy (a breath of fresh air!). She helped to insure we had enough appetizers for our guest (which we originally did not). She was so helpful throughout the process, always there to answer questions. The week of our event, we were less stressed than we thought we would be because of the wonderful staff. We were able to decide on our lightning options, which were fantastic!! Overall, we had a wonderful day and the Profile Event Center went above and beyond all our expectations!! The reasons we would recommend you book your wedding reception at the Profile Event Center: -Friendly and capable staff that go out of their way to make your event memorable -Sound system that still has our guests talking about it (and it is a month later) -Amazing lighting that would make any club jealous with the ability to transform from sophisticated dinner to fun and dance. -Wonderful bar area -Food that is absolutely AMAZING!! -A reception that will stand out in the minds of all your guests!!

The service here was outstanding. I had only lived in the Twin Cities for about a year and a half before getting engaged so I was unfamiliar with the places commonly used for wedding receptions. I could obviously think of the large, expensive venues but that was not really within my reach. After doing my research and finding the Profile Event Center, I was at ease. The food reviews were amazing, the versatility of the venue was promising, and the all inclusiveness in the pricing really appealed to my needs. Heather and her team were amazing to work with. Heather is the event coordinator at the venue and her assistance was priceless. She made the entire planning process easy and made my fiancé and I really feel taken care of. They also have tasting events where you can try every food and dessert option they offer and consult with baker to start discussing your cake. They bring in wedding bands, outside vendors, along with decorating the spaces so that you can start getting an idea on decorating and set up for your event. The cost process is easy to understand and there are no hidden fees or taxes. I knew months in advance what my final costs would be and this made saving and preparing much easier. Everyone complimented the food and ease of the ceremony and reception. Everything went smoothly and was just as I had planned. I would recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I fell in love with the unique look of this multi leveled reception hall. Everything from the lighting to the food to the staff was excellent. Our guests could not say enough great things about our reception, and many said it was the most fun they had at a wedding in years! Heather was a pleasure to work with, and incredibly flexible with all of our ideas. We loved that we could provide our own beverages (a HUGE savings!) which was a great treat for our guests ;) We even had late night snacks brought out, and because we could have the room until 2am, we invited official "wedding crashers" to keep the party going all night! It was perfect!

One stop shop

we just got married in the diamond hall this April. Everything went great. The transformation from wedding to dinner was seamless. The food is to die for (steak tips and salmon). in house DJ well worth it, he know that sound and lights. The end did not go as smooth as it began. manager seemed pushy to get us out be the 3am contracted end time. The sound tech locked us out of the ballroom before we had everything packed.

Overall the Profile staff was great! The food was awesome and everyone loved the lightening system. I just would not recommend it for a ceremony due to configuration of the place. Our DJ was not that great to work with I mean he was nice but had no songs at all we asked to play days in advance. The songs were queued up wrong. I felt it was a waste of my money and we should of just went with an IPOD.

I just attended a wedding at this location and I would have to say it was the worst reception I have ever attended. Seating was so tight that one could literally not get up to and exit for the batrhroom or the bar unless all others on their side of the table exited first. The Mens bathroom for this event and at least one other event in the building consisted of two urinals and one stall (digustlingly so) for all. The women bathrrom was a waiting line from the word go. One could not even get up and walk around as every opening was a critical path for navigation. Horrible. Most people left early due to the crowdedness. This center should have at least told the party that they were over capcity. And don't even get me going on parking (he said three city blocks later). Ugh.
