I was able to purchase a (size 18!) sample dress from the Wedding Shop for my wedding (which at that point was only 2.5 months away). I particularly appreciated the large number of "plus size" dresses that the Wedding Shoppe stock--and that they were willing to sell a sample to me. Kim was very helpful and found several dresses that worked well--including the one I purchased. That said, they aren't a high end place (though I got good attention when I was there on a Wednesday morning) and I imagine that on a busy day, it's a complete zoo.

Like many Minnesota brides, I knew I had to go to the Wedding Shoppe when hunting for gowns. I had the very first appointment of the day on a Tuesday morning and received excellent service from a consultant named Jackie. I tried on approximately 10-12 gowns, but ended up buying the very first dress I tried on! They estimated it would be 3-4 months before my dress was in, so you can imagine my surprise when I received a postcard saying it was in only 10 DAYS after purchasing! Great service, fair prices and a ridiculously quick order turnaround. Because I needed some major work done on my gown, I decided to have The Wedding Shoppe keep my dress and do the alterations. I had four separate fitting appointments and received good service at each one. On my wedding day, the dress fit like a glove and was incredibly flattering. I do wish I had insisted the hem was higher (looking at photos now, it seems to be dragging on the ground a bit) and my side bustle seemed somewhat loose throughout the evening. Also, the final price for the alterations wasn’t exactly cheap; I’m curious to know how that would have compared to hiring an independent seamstress.

They have great accessories and bridesmaid dresses. The staff was very helpful and helped us find beautiful dresses and earrings to go with to complete our look. This is a great place to shop.

The Wedding Shoppe was the first place I went to try on dresses and had a ton of options. I eventually found my dress at another store for a lower price and they were willing to match it when I told them I wanted to order the dress at their store.

Good service, prices a little on the high side but they were willing to negotiate lower prices I found elsewhere to keep my business with them. I wish I had gone here to look at wedding dresses, I've heard great things about the experience. They were good in the Bridesmaid's department. Dresses were delivered promptly.

I was overall very pleased with the Wedding Shoppe. I found my dream wedding dress for $1200. I was then able to get a percentage off because we got our tuxes from there so it ended up being under $1000, which was wonderful. They have a very large selection of dresses of different styles and prices. There are just a few things that I didn't like about the Wedding Shoppe. Because it is a small space, they can only handle so many appointments at once. I definitely felt rushed when I was there because there were other appointments coming in. It wasn't like I was taking a long time either. I tried a total of 5 dresses on and spent under 5 minutes in each dress. The other problem is getting appointments. I was at college in Iowa while planning my Minnesota wedding. When I got the call in the spring that my dress came in, I was so excited because I was going home the following weekend. However, they did not let me come in for 15 minutes to simply try it on and make sure there were no major issues with the dress because they had no room. I had to wait an entire month before I could come back to get it. The wedding shoppe is great for a getting a beautiful dress without breaking your budget, but you don't get those "warm fuzzies" when you go there.

I had a short engagement and walked into The Wedding Shoppe thinking it would be too expensive for me, and was just an opportunity for me to try on some styles. Because of my short engagment, I wouldn't have had time to order a gown, so they gave me the selection of dresses I could buy off the rack. All of them were marked down significantly! All were under $300!! I walked out an hour later with a dress I love for $200! I would highly recommend looking at these dresses first before going to their main floor and looking through the dresses marked full price. My dress was $1400 the year before, and I paid $200!

The Wedding Shoppe was the first place I looked for my bridal gown. I thought I found "the one" so I scheduled an appt a few days later so I could scope out other dress shops. I first saw my wedding gown in Stillwater. However, I was debating between that dress and the original one I saw at The Wedding Shoppe. After Stillwater, I went to the Wedding Shoppe and told the bridal consultant what I found and asked if they had something similar. She came back 5 minutes later with the exact same dress I saw in Stillwater...only it was $150 LESS at The Wedding Shoppe. Needless to say, I ordered it that day. 2 days before my wedding, I decided I wanted a bird cage veil. My mom and I went to The Wedding Shoppe and within an hour, found the perfect bird cage to go with my gown. Even with the last minute chaos I was going through 2 days prior to my wedding, The Wedding Shoppe pulled through. The consultant was extremely helpful and did a fantastic job choosing the perfect bird cage for my gown. The Wedding Shoppe has gowns and accessories for all budgets and their knowledge and professionalism is priceless.

I love the website for searching for dresses. Katie was very helpful in pulling dresses for me and letting me pull my own too. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I got my dress quickly. Nothing to complain about.

I loved the dress that i purchased! But I was hoping they had more selections to try on that they had on their website. There was a $100 fee to order a sample dress but was going to take 3- 4 months to get in. That was not going to work with my time frame...

I did love my dress that I got from the wedding shoppe. However, the service was terrible, the workers were rude. They didnt care at all about you or helping you find your dress. When I went to get my bridesmaid dresses, I had made an appointment, we got there and got our room and started look at dresses. My lady came in and told me there were going to move me because a party of 7 just showed up with no appointment and the take precedent over me. I was not happy. We got moved to our second room after gathering all of our things up. Then when we got settled they moved us again! And when they moved us the 3rd time we no longer had a consultant helping us even though three of them were stand by the desk chatting. Bad service, wouldnt recomend!

I found the perfect dress at the Wedding Shoppe!! The sales consultant (Sorry, I can't remember her name- but she had red hair) was super sweet and pulled dresses that fit my style exactlly!! The 2nd dress I tried on was the one!! I was in and out in less than an hour! So easy and fun and I ended up way below my budget!! When I got home I looked through some magazines again and realized the dress I chose is one that I had marked as a favorite!!

They were the only place that had the Maggie Sottero dress I wanted. And with the purchase of my dress I got $175 to spend on accessories and undergarmets. They were very nice and professional. :)

absolutely loved their dress selection obviously since I found my dress there. beautiful variety to choose from, helpful staff, don't plan on taking pictures of yourself in the dresses, only when you choose the "one". not very flexible when it comes to shipping your drive to a different city must be picked up at store. dress was extremely wrinkly and not even on the hanger when it was in the bag at the store, kind of disappointing. The bridesmaid store however was a completely different story. lacking in professionalism as well as friendliness. I don't understand why they ship the bridesmaid dresses to the bride, especially when the bride is in a different state; that actually cost me money because I had to pay to have them shipped back to minnesota.

Wedding Dress: So far nothing but great things to say about this place! So much more professional and attentive then the other places I went to. My consultant, Kristina, was absolutely fantastic and I felt like I was the only girl in the store. I got it narrowed down to three dresses I was absolutely in love with and had all of the other consultants coming over giving me their vote and opinions on which one they liked best. I was still torn so they told me to go to lunch and come back later that afternoon. Once I got back it was a lot busier and Kristin was with another girl. I had a different consultant pull the dresses for me, I tried one on, but was itching to get back in the lace gown that Kristina had pulled for me. The second I put it on with a veil I started crying. My mom overheard all of the consultants behind the counter commenting to themselves how it was made for me. Kristina paused her other appointment to come help me order and told me I could come try the sample on again anytime I wanted. I couldn't be more excited for my own to come in! Bridesmaid Dress Shopping: Bridesmaid dress shopping was a little more of an ordeal. While they definitely have the best selection of dresses of places we went to, the service down in the bridesmaid section is less then ideal. Our consultant kept leaving us to help other groups (that had their own consultants) and was quite rude to us when we realized the dress that we had fallen in love with didn't come in anything close to my colors. She also was very pushy in trying to get us to order that day which, as I explained to her several times, wasn't going to happen because two of my bridesmaids weren't there and I wanted them to try on the dress before we put in an order. I was very unimpressed to say the least. And it was even worse when we went back to pick out junior bridesmaid dresses and have my sisters get measured. The consultant kept snapping at my mom to come help her because she didn't know how to figure out what size dress to order based on their measurements. Um...isn't that your job?! However, they do have a great selection and they sell all of their bridesmaid dresses at the "cash and carry" price instead of suggested retail so we're getting our Jasmine Bridal dresses cheaper then we found anywhere else.

The people I worked with were fine - I think they need a bigger facility though, as I always felt rushed and crowded. They do have the best selection by far and I think they are a good happy medium if you don't want super pretentious, but you don't want a discount store feel either.

I loved working with the Wedding Shoppe for my gown and my bridesmaid dresses. Best selection in the Twin Cities and a knowledgeable staff. It can really be a zoo in there, but I still received personal attention and picked the perfect gown. I appreciate that the staff was able to read my emotions and my needs, and direct the appointment accordingly (get my family out of my way, help me focus). All in all, I highly recommend them. Just know it's not the most peaceful of places to do your wedding shopping.

The lady helping us knew our budget, but we felt like she said whatever was needed to get the sale. We told her our budget was $700 and that we couldn't go over that because we needed to save money for alterations. She told us that although the dress was $770, we could have it hemmed for free if we purchased the gown on our first visit. We ended up purchasing that gown and when it came in, they practically threw us out the door once we had paid in full. After talking with the manager, she told us that they didn't even do alterations there and that there was no way the salesperson told us that our hem was included in the price. She sent us across the road to a ridiculously priced seamstress (who was in the top half of there other building) and she wanted $300 for a hem and bustle! We left very dissatisfied and felt like we had been cheated by our sales lady. The selection was wonderful and the ordering process was quick. They are incredibly busy, so I highly suggest looking elsewhere to get an idea of what you want before you go (or else schedule two appointments back to back) if you decide to shop there.

I looked at the Wedding Shoppe as a last ditch effort to find a dress. I had avoided it before because I thought the prices would be too high, but I was very wrong! They have a great range of prices for their dresses, and the one I ended up choosing was only $330! I went on a weekday morning, so I had the entire upstairs dressing area to myself which was great. The lady helping me was great, not pushy at all and very helpful. I was also able to walk out with my dress since I could buy the sample, which was just what I wanted since my wedding was coming up quickly and I didn't want to wait to have a dress ordered in. The dress looked phenomenal on the wedding day, and I got a ton of compliments on it!

I visited the Wedding Shoppe during on of my planning visits to MN (we live in CA - married in MN). I really liked one of the dresses but was nervous about committing. Two weeks later, I got a call in CA from my consultant Katie. The designer was having a trunk show and she wanted to make sure I was able to lock in 20% off. I spent only half of my dress budget!!! I was so impressed that on my next visit, I ordered my eight bridesmaids dresses through them!
